For an affordable double pushchair priced at a little over $250 RRP, the Silver Cross Pop Duo delivers an impressive range of features. You get two well-padded seats, two footmuffs and two shopping baskets in addition to a few other handy additions such as a rain cover and a cup holder.
Another positive of this Silver Cross stroller is its lightweight aluminium chassis. At just over 12kg, the Pop Duo is impressively light for a double buggy. Despite the side-by-side design, it’s also nice and narrow – you forget about the nightmare of getting stuck in a shop doorway!
For all its positives, the Pop Duo falls short of expectations when it comes to folding. The mechanism itself is difficult to adjust to, whilst the clips have an annoying tendency to break open after being secured. All-in-all, though, this remains an impressive double pushchair for those on a limited budget.
