4.2

The Phil and Teds Explorer is an inline pushchair for one or two children that has been specially tailored to the needs of countryside-lovers.

The Explorer has been tried and tested for off-road use and can take on virtually any terrain type thanks to its robust pneumatic tyres. The front wheel of the Explorer can swivel a full 360-degrees for easy manoeuvrability on road, or else be locked into place for pushing over rockier terrain types. Mud guards are also provided for that bit of extra resistance to the elements.

It’s not just the wheels of the Explorer that are resilient, though – the rest of the buggy has been designed with durability in mind, too. The fabrics are easy to wipe clean and the plastic footwell is impressively sturdy.

On the whole, the Explorer is the ideal pushchair if you’re an outdoorsy type who requires a buggy with longevity. The only real drawback is the fold mechanism, which can be awkward to operate at times.
